Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering 2019, Volume 6, Issue 4,   Pages 431-440 doi: 10.15302/J-FASE-2019279

Abstract:

The concentration and components of manure phosphorus (P) are key factors determining potential Pmiddot;kg , was 14.9, 13.4 and 5.8 g·kg , respectively, and 4.4 g·kg in extensive cattle manure(i.e., P extracted by H O and NaHCO ) and 78% in extensive cattle manure. There is considerable regional variation in animal manure P across China, which needs to be consideredwhen developing manure management strategies.

POLICIES AND REGULATIONS FOR PROMOTING MANURE MANAGEMENT FOR SUSTAINABLE LIVESTOCK PRODUCTION IN CHINA

Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering 2021, Volume 8, Issue 1,

Abstract:

Manure utilization is hindered by separate specialist crop and livestock production systems

• Improving manure utilization requires organizations for manure exchange.

• A manure chain approach with third-party contractors is recommended. The targets for manure utilization are 75% in 2020 and 90% in 2035.exchange between farms and a more integrated manure nutrient management approach.

Frontiers of Agricultural Science and Engineering 2021, Volume 8, Issue 1,

Abstract:

• Livestock manure was the main organic waste in urban and peri-urban areas.

Manure production will increase by a factor of 3–10 between 2015–2050.urbanization, (3) UPA intensification, and (4) improved technology, on food-protein self-sufficiency, manureOnly 13 to 38% of manure N will be recycled in croplands.Doubling livestock productivity and feed protein conversion to animal-sourced food will roughly halve manure
